Different raw materials for brewing the Industry Beer and the Craft Beer
Now, Craft Beer has become a synonym for high-end beer, and its price different from dozens of dollars to thousand dollars per bottle. We have drink half a lifetime of Budweiser, snow and other industrial beer (Industry Beer) and Craft Beer. What is the difference in raw materials?
For the Industry Beer, grain, water is the main raw material, then plus hops to ferment by yeast, it is one low-alcohol dioxide fermentation beer. According to raw materials and fermentation process, it can be divided into Industry Beer and the Craft Beer. The Common beer ,like Budweiser, Carlsberg, Qingdao and snowflakes are all industrial beers.
(1) Craft Beer:it only use malt, hops, yeast and water for brewing, never add any artificial additives. Compared with industrial beer, malt content, hops is more, the wort of higher concentration. Usually, brewer do not need to consider the cost too much, most of them will choose the finest raw materials to brewe.
(2) Industry Beer : it uses malt, hops, yeast and water to brew same as craft beer , but for the lower cost, most brewers will make it with rice, corn and starch and other raw materials to replace malt. By this way, wort concentration is very low, the taste is subdued.
