For a 100L beer brewery system, it is always the electric heating type. But if the kettle and whirlpool is combined, the traditional heating pipe will prevent the whirlpool. Also if there is a rake in the mash/lauter tun, it can also does not work.
Then the ceramic band heater is a good way which can put outside the interior layer of the brewing tanks!
1 Introduction for Ceramic Band Heating Element
Ceramic Band Heating Element is designed and manufactured out of 40 years of experience, for superior performance and life expectancy. Primarily used for Plastic Processing machinery, depending upon applications, these heaters come with outer heat saving insulation covers, which provides the best combination of physical strength, high emissivity & good thermal conductivity to heat cylindrical parts, good for sheath temperature up to 500°C along with Energy Saving.
