Intermittent Immersion Of Barley
This method is alternated between water immersion and water cut.
According to the characteristics of barley, room temperature and water temperature, methods such as dip-breaking six, dip-four-breaking four, dip-breaking six-break six, and dip-three-breaking nine are often used.
Now take the dip four-break four method as an example to introduce the operation points:
Dip the wheat trough first into the water at 12 ~ 16 °C, weigh the selected barley well, put the dip-measuring instrument into the dip-growing trough, while pouring the wheat, while entering the water, while stirring and stirring with compressed air, make the floating wheat The impurities float on the surface of the water and are separated from the sewage from the side overflow trough. Continue to pass the clear water on the bottom of the tank until the water is clear, then add lime milk (also add other chemicals) by adding 1.3kg of quick lime per m3 of water.
After 4 hours of water immersion, the water was drained and the water was cut off for 4 hours. After that, the immersion was repeated four times and four times.
Ventilate once every 1h during immersion, about 10 to 20 minutes each time.
Ventilate for 10 to 15 minutes per hour during water cut and pump carbon dioxide at regular intervals.
When the immersion degree reaches the requirement, when the germination rate reaches 70% or more, the immersion wheat is finished, and the wheat can be germinated to the germination box. At this time, attention should be paid to the consistency of the immersion degree and the germination rate. For example, the germination rate should be delayed to extend the water cut time. Conversely, the immersion time should be extended.
