2-vessels Brewhouse is widely used in nano brewery and beer brewpubs.
Construction is Mash/Lauter tank and Kettle/Whirlpool tank.
There are copper brewhouse and SUS brewhouse for your optional.
For its small capacity, most of the brewers prefer to use electric heating way for Kettle tank.
It means there will be electric heat pipe inside the bottom of Kettle/Whirlpool tank.
As this way can not only save cost by saving steam boiler, but also save space for operation.
Work Flow Process in 2-vessels brewhouse
Mashing is the process of combining a mix of milled grain and water and heating this
mixture in a vessel called a "mash tun". For the mash/Lauter tun, the wort lautering process will also be finished in this "mash tun". Then the wort will be transferred into Kettle/Whirlpool tun. After 1 hour’s wort boiling and 30 minutes’ whirlpooling process, the wort will be cooled immediately by heat exchanger.
