The steam pipeline pressure

During brewery installation, most customer need to install steam pipeline and also need to purchase some required steam valves etc.
With this regard some customers will multiple confirm with us, just to be 100% sure – that working pressure of brewhouse tanks (MT, KWT) is 2 - 2.5 bar – does it mean the absolute pressure or gauge pressure?

Let’s learn absolute pressure and gauge pressure as below:

And the working pressure of brewhouse tanks is mean the gauge pressure.

The steam pressure will lost in when steam go into the tank jacket. It does not matter to have higher pressure during steam pipeline.
