Clean-in-place
Clean-in-place (CIP) is a method of cleaning the interior surfaces of pipes, vessels, process equipment, filters andassociated fittings, without disassembly. The advent of CIP was a boon to beer brewing industries.
The benefit to industries that use CIP is that the cleaning is faster, less labor-intensive and more repeatable, and poses less ofa chemical exposure risk to people. CIP started as a manual practice involving a balance tank, centrifugal pump, andconnection to the system being cleaned. The simple, manually operated CIP systems can still be found in use today.
In our company, there some different model of CIP.
1. Portable CIP Pump. It is for the small system which capacity is under 500L
2. 100L 200L or 300L Portable CIP Cart, included Sterilization Tank and Caustic Tank, it is used the system from 500L -5000L.
3. 500L and 1000L Fixed CIP Unit, include Sterile Water Tank, Sterilization Tank and Caustic Tank, it is used the system more than 5000L, included 5000L.
