Detergent and bactericide which are commonly used in beer brewing

 
There are some detergents which are commonly used in beer brewing as below:
1. Solid sodium hydroxide (NaOH)
2. Liquid sodium hydroxide (NaOH)
3. Liquid sodium hydroxide and phosphate
Typically, the concentration of lye used to clean cooling equipment, pipes, beer bottles, and beer kegs is 1.0%-2.2%
 beer brewing
There are some bactericides which are commonly used in beer brewing as below:
1. Formaldehyde vapor. It is used for air sterilization in fermentation area.
2. 1% or 2% formaldehyde solution. It is used for sterilization of equipment, containers, pipes and tools
3. Lime milk. It is used for walls and floors in the brewing area
4. 2% effective chlorine bleach. It is used for the sterilization of tools, sand filter bars and walls and floors in brewed areas.
5. 0.1% effective chlorine bleach. It is used for the sterilization of tools, sand filter bars etc.
6. 1% peracetic acid. 1% peracetic acid. 75% alcohol. Sulfur dioxide gas.
7. 75% alcohol. It can be used for sterilization of containers, valves, nozzles, thermometers and sugar meters.
8. Sulfur dioxide gas. Sulfur plus alcohol ignited for space sterilization in fermentation areas, storage areas and closed containers.
