Hop filtering solutions
Nowadays, more and more beer lover like to brew very hoppy beer, and find some solutions to add hops to beer.
Except dry hopping, hop gun, some brewers also use hop bag filter front of heat exchanger.
The bag filter inside with a cloth bag which fill with fresh hops, the fresh hops will work as filter media to help filter the coagulum from boiling, and also add hop favors into wort.

With development, the bag filter upgrade to we call it hop back, which inside with stainess steel screen, and it has different filter precision.
Even with hop filter front of Heat exchanger, we usually still install one pipe filter front of heat exchanger. As it is difficult to clean heat exchanger once there is some coagulum go into heat exchanger, it need to disassemble the heat exchanger to clean and assembly it again.
