Importance Of The Controlling Cabinets
About the control unit, I think it is an very critical point for the brewing process.
Please pardon me for the long explanation of the principle to the controlling unit.
1. Like the mashing process in brewhouse, it needs stepped temperature raise for step infusion mashing.The temperature probe can monitor the temperature inside the tank, and it gives signal to control unit. The control unit then give signal to steam boiler to open or close steam generator by steam solenoid valve to control the temperature inside tank.
During this process, control unit is the central brain.
2. Like the fermenting process, it has the similar process.
The control unit can get signal from the temperature probe to open or close the glycol chiller,pump to cool the Fermenter.
In the night, the control unit can also automatically keep the temperature in balance in case the beer goes bad without need people always stare at it.
For example: we set the ferment temperature is 9 Celsius in fermenter, if the temperature is over
9, the control unit will start all the parts to reduce the temperature.
If without control unit, the temperature can not be monitored exactly. And can not realize automatic temperature control for fermenter when nobody beside.
Above is just my personal suggestion that controlling unit is very important. Only one probe installation can not control the brewing process.
