Just like any food and beverage facility, Micro brewery equipment requires a great deal of upkeep. Each beer brewing equipment has to be adequately cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis to avoid the growth and spread of harmful bacterias which can contaminate the craft beer.
Before the 1950s, when CIP systems became more commonplace, breweries had to completely disassemble their equipment to clean it. This took a great deal of time, and the frequent disassembly of this equipment could eventually begin to negatively impact the quality of the product.
These days, however, the equipment found in breweries is all closed. A CIP brewing system makes it possible for breweries to clean the internal walls of the brewing equipment without having to disassemble anything. This makes it possible to preserve the internal environment of the equipment, as well as the overall quality of the beer being brewed. Let me several CIP system pictures to share with you as below.

This process should be controled by conductivity and automation should recognize when each step is finished.
Cold and Hot Caustic should be posible within minutes without discharge of chemical solutions
Also the station should actívate alarms if there is no flow because of run out of concentrated chemicals.
Automation should dispose solutions out of the cycle by drain as needed.
Another inlet in CIP module with Rinsing wáter at ambient temp should come directly from water supply piping and you should specify pressure and flow to achieve proper rinsing of every step with another inlet on the CIP station.
