What is Wet Grinding?
 
Wet Grinding need to steep the malt in approx 50℃ water for 15-20min.
The water content should be up to 30% before transferring it into the milling machine.
During malt grinding, transfer strike water into the hopper above miller, then transfer the
mixture liquid together into the Mash tun.
 
Advantage of wet grinding:
--1. Wet grinding did advanced steep for barley malt, which increase the toughness of malt
husk. So the husk can keep integrity in much more extent.

--2. Content of the malt absorb water in advance, Thus it is more easier to get pulp fine
stuffs, which is more helpful for gelatinization, the dissolution of soluble components and
releasing the free enzyme
