What’s The ratio of material to water when brewing beer?

The ratio of raw malts and water used in saccharification is called the ratio of material to water.
The ratio of raw malts and water decides the concentration of the first wort.

Usually, 100kg mash feeding needs to add 400kg water, and then we will get 16°P concentration of the first wort.
The following is water consumption formula for mashing:
N=100E/(E+V)   V=E(100-N)/N

Ps. N---The concentration of the first wort,  %
E---malts leaching rate , %
V--100kg malts needs the water to mash, L
