What is the first wort when you brew beer
Wort lautering process can be broadly divided into two stages, the first stage is the malt as filter layer, separate the wort from the mash, this portion of wort is called the first wort or top wort.The second stage is to wash the soluble leachables remaining in the grains with hot water, the resulting wort is called second wort or washed wort.
So, hot water tank is better to be used to prepare the hot water for the whole mashing process.
The following beer equipment is 2000L brewing system.Our customer has equipped the hot water tank.
